CBE Southern Africa pretends to recruit Scaffolders to safely erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding structures to provide safe access and working platforms for construction and maintenance activities. Only candidates with Valid Scaffolding Certificates will be selected.

• • Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to approved drawings, specifications, and procedures;
• • Inspect scaffolding components before use to ensure they are in good condition and suitable for the intended application;
• • Assemble scaffolding frames, tubes, couplers, boards, platforms, ladders, guardrails, toe boards, and access systems;
• • Ensure scaffolding structures are properly levelled, secured, braced, and anchored;
• • Install appropriate guardrails, toe boards, access ladders, and other fall-protection systems;
• • Ensure scaffolding is erected on stable and suitable foundations;
• • Assist with the loading, unloading, transportation, and safe storage of scaffolding materials;
• • Conduct routine inspections of erected scaffolding and report defects or unsafe conditions immediately;

• • School Certificate or equivalent is preferred;
• • Formal scaffolding training or apprenticeship is an advantage;
• • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a Scaffolder;
• • Experience in construction, mining, oil & gas, industrial, or infrastructure projects is highly desirable;
• • Valid Scaffolder certification (Mandatory);
• • Working at Heights certification;
• • Basic First Aid and Fire Safety training are advantageous.
